Strategic Technology Plan - NEW!
The Lake County Strategic Technology Plan (.zip) is a result of Connect Ohio's eCommunity Strategies process, which forms teams in every Ohio county and involves representatives from many sectors of the community. This Strategic Technology Plan addresses local challenges related to technology growth, and serves as the basis for the development and local execution of specific project plans.
Implementation of these plans is dynamic and continuous. As local team members work on the projects that were identified during the plan’s development, they may find that modifications to the plan or projects are necessary.
Connect Ohio’s State Operations Managers will guide and assist teams to help them complete projects that will significantly and positively impact the availability and affordability of broadband technology in Lake County. If you would like to be a part of a project team in Lake County, please contact your State Operations Manager (see above for contact details.)

Community Benchmarking Tool
The Community Benchmarking Tool was designed to provide a benchmark for a community's current readiness to participate in the enormous economic, social, governmental, and personal changes that high-speed communications entail.
This tool was used in each Ohio county to gather data as each county completed the eCommunity Planning process. Most importantly, this tool helps provide a vision of specific steps and actions that a community-government, businesses, schools, community groups, and citizens-can take to benefit from these changes.
